I remember very clearly in the past, my editor the belated Harun
Abdul Majid, he was popular in Singapore and Malaysia for his Malay
lyrics composition, told me that for a band group or a solo singer,
if he or she is crazy to gain glamour, they will fall because they
have forgotten who they were and how they have achieved their
popular status. Most of the band groups and solo singers in the
past had failed and fell because they had forgotten how to be
HUMBLE. That was Harun Abdul Majid statement
to me.
About Taufik, Hady and Sezairi, I think if they combine their
talent and formed a Boy Group and sing English and Malay songs….I
think they can be very successful. In Korea, if they can capture
the fans there with their English songs, automatically, they will
be successful in South East Asia region.
