Today, I’m going back in time to bring up those awesome powerful music. Hope you like it. And this is one of them.

“Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” is a song written by Bennie Benjamin, Gloria Caldwell and Sol Marcus for the jazz singer and pianist Nina Simone, who first recorded it in 1964. “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” has been covered by many artists, including a 1965 blues rock hit by The Animals. A 1977 four-on-the-floor disco rearrangement by disco group Santa Esmeralda was also a hit.

But I love it best by Santa Esmeralda. When you listen to this song, tune-up your volume and dance to its beat. Enjoy!

This song by The Bee Gees, every teenage girls and boys would dance on the floor during the house parties in the 70s. That was how young girls and boys met and fell in love. Many of them got married too and are still married until now. This song was normally played for slow dance, usually at the end of the house party and late in the night or early morning past midnight.

Wow! Yeah! Besides Michael Jackson’s music, I remember Boney M. Usually his music were played in the parties. We had many parties held in HDB flats in the 70s and 80s but there were no complains from the HDB residences though the music were loud and all the party goers were dancing throughout the night. Unlike now, a little bit of noise like Karaoke in the early evening, people will complain to the Police. Alamak! What to do! Sighs!
