from friends who own and have driven this car ....
it's still pretty much proton quality, so not sure if it's worth
the money in singapore.
on the road price in msia is RM70K ..... but, 2nd hand prices dip
like mad, cause it's perceived as a fast car and for the younger
ones. many gals drive it though, two of my friends (who are gals)
in msia, drive this car
one of these friends bought a one yr plus old GTi for RM52K
each gear has great pulling power and i think the engine pushes out
120bhp (pls correct me if i'm wrong). the bucket seats from recaro
are comfy and suspensions from lotus helps the car stay on 4
tyres
going up genting is a breeze.
bottom line is this ......... it's STILL a proton, with proton
quality. i've seen one of the front indicator lights missing and
after asking the owner, it seems it flew off after travelling at
200km/h
but, it's still the car i want to buy 
however,
NOT in singapore cause i'm estimating the price to be almost
SGD80K
