just busy with work... thought that you were keeping the watch... hehehe.

The Thai team is one of the best in ASEAN. We haven't been able to beat them convincingly. According to this morning's papers, the last time we beat them on home ground was 1977.

So the National Stadium closed its gates in victory, albeit controversially Smile

I think we have a good chance at the title.

choco B SG

Really? Confused
I think the atmosphere in Thai stadium will be murderous, damn tough crowd to perform in

sillyme SG

Small chance only Mr. Green
Our defense quite tough. Just don't crumble under pressure, it should be ok lah Razz

vince69 SG

actually, the Thai team manager seems to agree with you on this, that the Sgp team may win the cup.

sillyme SG

I am not sure about the football league in Thailand. I think the S-League did help to bring the level of footballl up. Some more we have foreign "imports" Razz .

I think we are decent, just cannot be complacent. Fortunately, Noh Alam Shah is in form. Indra seems to be finding his feet.

laurence82 SG

Some friends keep shouting Preciouuusss

I tot we had a hobbit on the pitch

Turns out to be our African defender

Laughing

laurence82 SG

hmm actually its true that the ref's decisions was controversial, heck, he ignored so many fouls committed right in front of his eyes

but then again, its unprofessional to walk of the pitch like that

ban the Thais

Mad Mad Mad

breytonhartge SG

hope they don't wilt under pressure and score own goals... they have been known to do that.. kekekek.

laurence82 SG

To show our patriotism, lets sing Negara Ku

Mr. Green

sillyme SG

The referee is really kayu lah… you can see that he lost control of the match…

breytonhartge SG

huh, you've got to fill me in on this one...

breytonhartge SG

was the ref a singaporean?

Hey sillyme, how goes the prep for the wedding?? Mr. Green

sillyme SG

Ref is a Malaysian. They shouldn't put someone whose national team just lost to one of the finalist as referee. very hard to not doubt his judgements...

my prep ah? not so bad.. the major bookings, e.g. photographer, venue, all done...

now left food-tasting, gather helpers, and guest list... i think guest list is the major headache Razz

never had i listened to so many christian songs at one go... needed to choose them for the wedding ...

breytonhartge SG

all the very very best! Shalom and shalom!

Food tasting is fun... best part. What are you having on the menu?

With the songs... been there done that... would not like to do it again... tiring. Even though you like the songs. Are you doing a bridal waltz? Have you learnt your steps yet?

sillyme SG

Have not selected our menu yet... but will be doing it soon lor... good thing we can pick and choose from a variety (not from fixed sets)

have not attended a wedding that has a bridal waltz before.. is that those that the groom gets the bride to dance on the dance floor?

choco B SG

No, he gets to choose any lady partner of his choice Laughing

sillyme SG

don't plray plray ah... dance of death Laughing

Chin Eng SG

hmmm.... I had my then-Sunday School students singing a secular song at my church wedding.

.... I hope your wedding isn't one of those evangelistic rally type.... really hate those.

Chin Eng SG

yeah.... death wish....

sillyme SG

Nope. Me also don't like "preachy" weddings... Don't want to make our families uncomfortable...

There will be some Jazz for the songs to be played Smile In fact I only picked two Christian songs, one for solemnisation and the other for the first in-procession (don't like to use "march" Mr. Green ).

The second in-procession will be using "Happy Together" by Jack Johnson. Happened to chance upon on this song... it's quite chirpy and nice Smile

The rest, I let my friend decide. Happens to be the music arranger for "The Bride". Hope he doesn't put in scary music Laughing
