and the Litchfield Type 25 too. scored highly recently in Autocar UK's test, came in 2nd of 20 cars infact, becos Mr Litchfield adjusted the dampners to fit road or track, according to the test that day. Anyways, for handling, nothing beats a go kart. unfortunately, for personal back n neck torture, nothing beats a go kart too. Sad
oh btw, the S60R's adjustable suspension needs a lot of work, it ain't right yet...

btw if u comparing s'pore sti and jdm spec-c, the spec-c obviously has the most power(280 compared to 265). but if both are jdm, the spec-c is still faster even though both r the same hp(not sure about torque) due to the fact that it is lighter. btw anyone know the engine specs for the volvo s40 turbocharged? i full throttled in my civic that day but this car like damn power lor... Mad

S40? maybe u ran into the 220bhp T5? and even the normal S40 has 170bhp, gd enuf to hit 100 in 8.9.

The S40 is damn power one ... even the 1.8 version ...
i tried dragging before with my neighbour's S40 T4 ... whoa lau ... is like Amazing lor ... beat my dad's 1.6 GLi flat out 5 car length. and its rumoured that S40 T4 got enough power to tail an Evo 7 stock and the S80 T5 can go on par with it .. (tested, and proven to myself) Mr. Green

Weird. I test drove the S40T5 with a bigger engine and higher bhp (smaller dimensions too IIRC) and it felt nowhere near as fast as the Evo MR. The auto gearbox really really saps it of power

The steering feedback is spongy and detached and the FWD will not handle as well as the well sorted out 4WD/AYC/ACD capabilities.

Of course refinement and equipment levels and finishings and gadgets are another thing altogether Very Happy

You makes yr decision, you pay yr money...

true the auto tranny saps power, but the Evo 7 i am referin to is the GTa version Mr. Green dun get to carried away

Volvo is more of the safety, not much performance can be expected to come out of them lah. But it will be very powerpacked if can modify their XC90 Laughing

Cubpolice, the GTA is an evo that gives pple who prefer auto cars a chance to drive the evo. But the performance is really slag compared to the manual evos. Tested and proven on the track of PG.
