simcity SG Mine is the more solid type, not those filmsy type. Will try to upload some pics next time. Seems like most of you have to wait a few mths to get ur Altis. I booked mine (black colour) back in 8th Dec 2003 and got it on 8th Jan 2004. Exactly one mth time. Not too bad..

speedygonzales SG its true... altis is so common nowadays.... but then again, we should know when we bought toyota cars.... thos their mkt share in sg is abt 27-28%? their cars r everywhere on the roads! not to mention the price of altis is very attractive compared to other 1.6l cars....

JLow SG look on the brighter side, driving a 'market' car is much better than a rare one. spare parts are readily available shud yr car break down. btw, there was an article in Streats last week saying toyota is the no. 1 safest car in the world. so that shud explain their dominance in the market. i also think nissan is catching up fast. lots of them on the road too.
speedygonzales SG ya.... saw a lot of nissan... wat u said abt the spare parts is true.... easily available for common cars... dats why i dropped the idea of getting toyota ist though its such a nice little car... scared the maintenance and the costs of the spare parts will kill me... but still nice to see the ist on the roads.... just admire from far.... overall, altis is still a better buy...
p21 SG you got yours so fast coz its the initial launch of altis mah not many dare to buy yet but now different story...
