johncooper SG err ... peace ah here are some answers to the best of my knowledge 1. EX and SS are the features like Auto fold side mirrors and such, for e.g. G9's 1.6LX vs 1.6GLi 2. Current promo i dun know got to check with TCM 3. The current gearbox is better in terms of normal driving ... but for dragging .. it needs a piggyback ECU to help it go along 4. Fuel consumption is honestly speaking not better then the Altis BUT on par with the Civic 5. Leg room i actually haven't tried with the Civic .. but it is almost the same with the Altis ... can fit a 1.8m long bean like me in 6. Pick up with the E-Throttle is of course superb ... but if there is a V-tec.... we cannot compare right?
AE86tofu SG start a nissan club here lar but nt sunny club.....so that al nissan drivers here can join mar....
toyota_lover SG Thanks johncooper. Why not some one start a friendly comparison between altis n sunny? Some might be thinking i wanna start a war though. Just my own opinion.
toyota_lover SG Erm... not much comparison on altis n sunny leh. More owners like to compare with civic. Maybe civic better is it... hehe
johncooper SG err ... know not much on the technical aspect of those 2 cars ... maybe i should leave it to [email protected] to do the technical comparison? HENG! Oei [email protected]!!! where are you? YOU'RE NEEDED HERE!!!
[email protected] SG which 2? unfortunately.... i dun really study so much into normal cars leh... maybe if u were touching on the Porsche 911 GT3 RS vs the Ferrari 360 CS... okok lemmie go do some looking up of facts...
walan SG Have a question for fellow drivers of new Sunny EX 1.6, do you use 98RON or higher petrol? Is it alright to use 95? Trying to save some $ lah.
mushigen SG Bro walan, You mentioned "new" nissan sunny, so I assume your ride is brand new. New cars come with owner's manual. Read it and you'll know RON 91 is the minimum, but for better performance, Nissan recommends RON 95 or higher.
toyota_lover SG Just talked to a friend who have a SFJ civic saying FC is 11.5km/L. Hmm...seems high leh. Any comment?
johncooper SG No problems man ... but you want smoother drive use the Ron98. I think shell's 98 is good ... they live up to what they claim ... better mileage ... my full tank can run 580 before hitting the reserve tank ... Bro and Sis driving the Sunny do try it ... it helps for me
