SINGAPORE: MediaCorp Radio’s Chinese language station Y.E.S
93.3FM has retained its top spot in the latest radio survey by
attracting more than a million listeners.
Figures from the Neilsen Media Research survey show that the
station captured closed to 30 per cent of the listenership in
Singapore.
Another Chinese station, Love 97.2FM, took second spot while
Class 95 is at number three, making it the top rated English radio
station.
Also in the top 10 are MediaCorp Radio’s other English stations
Gold 90.5FM, 987FM and 938LIVE. All three stations registered small
slight gains in listernership.
But SAFRA Radio’s Power 98 dropped in the ranking. However, its
Chinese language station Jia 88.3 registered a significant jump in
listernership, moving up three positions from the last survey, to
take 9th spot overall. — CNA/vm
