Malaysia should be branded an Apartheid state, US

It was first
Malayan Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman who once stormed out of a
Commonwealth meet in London in May 1960 after thundering that he
would not be seated at the same table as the President of Apartheid
South Africa.
Ironically,
fifty-odd years later, Hindraf Makkal Sakthi the NGO is lobbying
Washington to classify Malaysia as an Apartheid state no different
from that which once existed in South Africa and which ultimately
degenerated into an international pariah.
This is the
plea that went out to the US Government in recent days through the
Human Rights Foundation Malaysia (HuRiFoM), a United Kingdom-based
NGO newly set up by Hindraf to outsource its broader Malaysian
Agenda.
