ANZ Optimum World MasterCard is the best card
for occasional travelers who earn at least $80,000 each year. You
can choose one of four categories to earn unlimited 5% cashback on
purchases in your selected category. The four categories you can
pick from are travel, dining & leisure, shopping and groceries,
and you can earn cash back on those purchases anywhere in the
world.
You can choose the category you want every calendar quarter
(January - March, April - June, July - September, October -
December), so you can choose travel as your category if you expect
to book travel during the coming calendar quarter, but the rest of
the time you can enjoy the 5% unlimited cashback on purchases you
make closer to home by choosing either groceries, dining &
leisure or shopping as your category. On all other purchases you
will earn 1% cashback, which is pretty good for a flat rate on
everyday spending!
This card also comes with a lot of dining, shopping and leisure
privileges both in Singapore and overseas. When you sign up for
this card, you get a $100 cash rebate! This card has a $180 card
fee per annum (waived for the first year). Here's
our ANZ Optimum World MasterCard review.
