For your battery, first ascertain if it is a GEL or Battery
water type. If it is a GEL, it should be maintenance free, replace
it once in about 2 years. If it is the battery water type, check
level of battery water once every month, top if if
require....battery water very cheap one. For battery Water types,
replace every year.
Car Tyres, check for pressure once every two weeks when tyres are
COLD. Try not to drive more than 5km on a sedate pace to the
nearest petrol station.
It will be good to monitor the engine oil level, the
auto-transmission level once every week. Check brake fluid and
steering fluid levels once every week too.
For me I usually do all this on a Sunday.
