For example i spent around $700 once just to plan a surprise
birthday party for my girl when she was 19. Chalet, 101 balloons
and gifts. Everything included amounts to around 700SGD.
I had a friend who spent 500 bucks for his girl too, he had bought
jewelery and went to learn how to bake his own cake and surprises
for his girl on his birthday.

gf...that's the maximum amount so far that I've spent while we were
dating.. Generally, while we were dating, we would go out every
weekends and a few times during weekdays; spending $1000 + a month
was a norm
