40-foot
trailer crashes into tree along KJE; no one
hurt
SINGAPORE: A 40-foot trailer carrying steel rods from metal
recycler NatSteel smashed into a tree along the Kranji-Jurong
Expressway (KJE) towards Woodlands Checkpoint on Thursday afternoon
(Jun 9). No one was injured.
Driver Anbon Raj, who was on his way back to Kulai in Malaysia,
said he lost control of the trailer at about 2.50pm.
When Channel NewsAsia arrived at the scene at about 4.30pm,
Traffic Police officers were seen directing the traffic away from
the far-left lane.
