If you are 40 to 60 years old:
Participate in a speech research project for I2r (A-Star) and
earn $40
All you have to do is read aloud from an English script
which will be provided by us (2 persons taking turns to read
alternately).
Please check out "BBC Learning English - 6 minute lessons" for
the type of script you will be asked to read.
Limited participants hence please email us asap to book your
time slots. Time slots are available on weekdays (Monday to Friday)
between 8 am to 8 pm. In case you are free only on weekends, a
mutually agreeable time slot can be arranged.

Please ensure that
you satisfy the following requirements:
- Native
Singaporean
- Between 40 and
60 years of age
- Able to read
English well (please refer to BBC Learning English
for script sample)
- Willing to
travel to A-Star's office at Fusionopolis (just above the
One-North MRT
Station on Circle Line)
- The session is
expected to take around 1.5 hours (or shorter,
depending on your
reading speed)
- Bring along a
friend who satisfies the above criteria (as 2
persons need to take turns to read from a script which will
be
recorded on a computer)
- If you are
unable to bring a friend along, we will try to pair you
up
with other participants
You are required to fill up a simple participation form and
agree to letting A-Star use your voice for Speech Research project
and to make your voice publicly available without disclosing your
identity
Each person participating in this project will be paid S$40.
If you bring a friend, each of you will be paid S$40 (total $80
per speaker pair).
