Surprised by what you said. SDP has been a political party without
speaking rights in parliament ever since Chiam See Tong left the
party in 1997.
NSP at least sent in Steve
Chia to parliament as NCMP in 2001 and finished above 40% mark in
2011 in Tampines, Marine Parade and Mountbatten.
However both parties have been hit by a string of departures.
NSP lost 3 ex-Secretary Generals: Goh Meng
Seng, Jeannette Chong-Aruldoss and Hazel Poa. SDP
lost its A-team members : Tan Jee Say, Ang Yong Guan and Vincent
Singha.
