You hold rally at some empty field - 500 people watch you.

You post on youtube and your video goes viral - 1 billion people watch you.

You all don't know the power of youtube.

New media has the power to make you a king overnight, even if 1 billion people can't vote for you.

It also has the power to make you a laughing stock.

Who says we don't know?

ditzy SG

Oh god, I switched it off right after Desmond came on. If this is what the SDA became, even if you put nicole there, she won't win sh|t.

Mr Milo SG

dun take it seriously

entertainment only Laughing

If SDA don't even support their own guy to have one rally, it is plain obvious they are not interested in this by elections. Basically, he's contesting for the sake of contesting. If this was just a 2 party fight between PAP, and SDA, who would you rather take the seat?

Mr Milo SG

PAP lor

Even Ms Tin Tin is better than them

Pull out now, can take back half of the election deposit ?

Here are 2 articles on PE by-election

The 1st a 'tongue in cheek' about Desmond Lim

http://anyhowhantam.blogspot.sg/2013/01/vote-with-your-stomachs-vote-desmond.html

The 2nd, a 'tongue in cheek' on Michael Palmer:

Funny or what?

charlize SG

We need to be cheaper better faster.

Mr Milo SG

I rather they subsidize the cost of purchasing a 3 room HDB flat for first owners

Mr Milo SG

Really, SDA is stupid to pull off such a stunt that made them a laughing stock
they might as well dissolve SDA
