aiya, we have NS for what? To defend S'pore lah! Not to create
nurse, cooks, or bus drivers. it would be a huge waste of money to
train them.
Hi Summer Hill, I think some can be trained for combat service like
in the U.S. Army, The People Republic of China, North Korean Army
etc. Tomboy females will be good for combat services lols. I think
if Singaporean women can replace the roles of The Singapore Civil
Defence Force will be good enough. Then all Singaporean males can
all serve SAF, RSAF and RSN. In the past before the establishment
of SCDF, most males served in the SAF and Singapore Police Force. I
think sending males to serve NS in the police force is also a waste
of manpower and money.
