U were drivin along a busy street one day... Wif a Big L plate behind ur car... Jus signal n bout to change lane to the right... Bout to mak right turn... Then tis car behind... A BMW came racin down behind u, hornin non-stop, speedin at a speed bout 90km/h while u L plate goin at 50km/h...

Got the shock of my life... From mirror, first horn, top of mirror... 2nd horn, car is behind me already... N the horn is horn horn... No pausin!

Ok... Embarassed Not my fault... But i scared, i surely will cham the brakes de ma... I ways have the mentality tat if u stop at least u won bang anybody... Of coz not in every situation, esp tis one! But i jus slowed down lor... Thinkin die ah, sure kena scolded lik hell by my inst... Quickly acc n to at least 70 liao, still cannot avoid the car... Phew... Lucky brake tat instant, nothin happen...

But u know wat? u nev belive it! I quicky change from brake to acc, i down there step acc lik shit, my inst go brake lik hell... So the car didn't really slow or acc so... Haiz... Inst doin tis kind of thing leh! He says mus teach behind the BMW a lesson... Smile Quite agree lor... Is a young gal... so Hiong de... Mus be showin off... Bf beside ma...

N wat did my inst taught me then? He says, if he drivin ah... He surely will jus drop gear only... Will not step on brakes de... Coz steppin on brakes, can see brake light, still can stop... If drop gear, the car will slow down rapidly but cannot see light at all... So behind the car will have to cham break lik hell! OMG! Ahem... think shouldn't be sharin tis! haha, please don follow... But jus give some suggestions to as wat would u do!

N my drivin center is lik emphasizes on... Drivin safety lasts a long way... Wink

Juz continue with ur driving n ignore that stupid gal. U'r not wrong if u follow d traffic rule. Let her horn til she buay tahan c wat can she do. Or do like wat ur instructor said drop d gear n let her bang u. If kena report definately she'll b in trouble!! Surely kena points deduction. I think the most important is safety .... if he wants to go fast let him go ... if he insist on horning you to move of the lane ... then he can jolly well forget it ... high beams is not there for nothing ... Evil or Very Mad

I hope you are not driving on the 1st lane on expressways, cos even if you travel at the speed limit, you are still consider road hogging as long as there are a long trail of cars behind you.

For the use of horns arr, sometimes have to use horn leh. I have met lady drivers who are so oblivious to their surroundings that no matter how you high beam them also no use. They dun even look at mirrors one, only keep looking straight. So for this pattern one, must use horn right? haha..

Ok la... Esp expressway... I only once in a while check the rear mirror... So i think i might be quite oblivious to any high beamers!

Ways check the mirror v trouble leh... N somemore travel so fast, the car tends to serve a bit...

Look st, v impt... Need see got any car cuttin into ur lane suddenly, nev give signal somemore esp mus look out...

But i only use center or left... Wink

L plates and goods vehicles are not supposed to be on the right lanes unless turning right and must be indicated clearly.

if anyone rear ends you n you are on the right lane on a straight road....then you have to pay 100% full for his damages for road hogging and obstructing the smooth flow of traffic.
