most vans and tipper trucks driving at 90km/hr

these drivers go through a 6-8 week course... what do you expect them to do? drive like a seasoned driver? speed too slow? its 50km/h speed limit, how fast...

i have been seeing more than before vans and tipper trucks / cement mixers travelling in the middle lanes at speed as high as 90km/hr just to earn the extra few hundreds for making that extra to-and-fro trips....like some of our forum writers say, "if u wanna speed, u kill yourself don't kill others..."

WHY TP keep catching innocent day-to-day drivers? so stressed to drive leow.....then when LTA finds not enough money, then TP will relax rule abit.....kakakak...joking nia....

add to this list if u agree fully with me....

you don't see it doesn't mean they don't catch them.

I've seen TPs travelling on the 3rd lane just to catch them.

anyway, the problem is not the tipper truck drivers, it is the fixing/installation of speed limiter….people are disabling them…...and LTA/TP have problems getting a ‘good’ and trust-worthy vendor to fix them properly….!!!

why not install speed limiters on civilian vehicles then? all vehicles will go at 90km/h max.

can but if u go malaysia road, u will be crashed or sandwiched by these heavy vehicles when u r slower than them….

that brings us to physic.....Newton's law and etc laws.....

if 2 tipper trucks travelling at opposite direction toward each other at velocity of 90km/hr, both weighing 2 tonnes each, then they will both crash their front but drivers will survive from the crash...

if 1 car travelling toward a stationary tipper truck at speed of 90km/hr, then regardless of the weight of the car, the car will crash badly and wrecked from the impact and driver will die....

the truck drivers are not going to survive a crash at 90km/h

metal is hard, but it isn't that hard.

90hm/h head on has an impact worse then jumping from 20 floors.

bottomline is, do not speed... whether you're a truck driver, or you're in a car.

if i drive those things, i will MOD it with RALLIART technology…...install HID headlamps…..super-loud Airhorn….....use super-grade diesel…...also i will install ultra low side skirting…....and also eye lids for the tipper truck….coz most of these trucks are Mitsubishi brand….kekekekeee

And have the extreme left lane taken up by 2 ton trucks going at a max of 50km/hr. Sure why not? Expressways require only 2 lanes the most. Even better, let them have the entire shoulder.
