If kena caught with a Nos Kit installed what are the Implications?

Is there any Cons in installing one?

if u are caught, u can be fined and your car impounded.

the only pross are that you get a temporary boost in bhp, but the cons are that you will need to rework your engine for a NOS setup b4 u can even think about pressing that little red button. And then even with that, everytime u do use it, it places great stresses on the engine, and your chassis as well. As a result u may have to strengthen your chassis as well. Finally. you have to keep buying bottles of NOS to refill your car, and that can be very hard on the wallet.

Impounded? Does that mean confiscated?

Stress on Engine? U mean the NOS can blow my engine? Cos the mechanic who spoke to me assure me my VVT-i engine can deal with it. Is he trying to con me?

So it's generally not advised to do so?

yes. confiscated. The mechanic may be thinking in terms of short term durability, but rest assured that your engine is not going to like it. And, it seems unlikely that you do not have to 1st beef you engine up, because any short temp. increase in bhp is going to cause extra wear and tear, and a stock engine would likely "die" very fast under these conditions. I wouldn't say he was trying to con you, but do remember he IS trying to sell u a product. Which salesman have u heard speak bad about the products they are trying to sell?

heng, i heard dat if not carefully handled or the engine cant tk it, it'll explode rite?
think dat 2 types of nos rite? dry n wet huh? wad the differ ar?

it won't explode like, "ka boom" but basically your piston, the O rings, crankcase, or any one of the several components might fail, esp the pistons and their associated parts. Your engine will either sieze, or lose compression, or your exhaust manifold might crack. any of these happen, its bye bye engine.

u are refering to a wet shot and dry shot setups right? i am not actually very sure of the diff, let me find out. but i know that there are several diff bhp-rated boosts. installation should be somewhere around a few thousand, if i am not wrong.
