Motion_Sickness SG hello, well i did the stupidest thing of spilling some laksa on the floormat of my car. Thank goodness i was nearing home n managed to clean it up quick, but the smell's still there, and it's horrible!!!! haha anyone has any suggestions for a dimwit like me?
skeujin SG go get it shampooed. after tt leave a small tray of bicarbonate of soda in the car overngt. tt will absord all the weird smels in the air.
ditzy SG One day got time, find a space with lotsa direct sunlight during the really hot afternoon. Park ur car under the sun and leave all the doors open. Do this for 1/2 to 1 hr. Can't gurantee you the smell will be gone.
[email protected] SG take any nice colonge u have, spritz a coupke of spritz under the dashboard, switch on the air con to full blast, set it to circulate within, and let it blow for sometime.
12bmyself SG put charcoal 1st then put pandan leaf for few days. this is the way i did to my new car.......
stealthguy SG Place a few slices of white bread in the car for one day. They will absorb the smell. Learned this from a radio programme, and it seem to work.
johncooper SG Err ... can get Ionizer ... really helps to get rid of any smell ... cost around 52 for a decent one .... got one .. i smoke also can get rid within 10 minutes ... no problem ... and my husky gets in to the car and produce an odour ... switch it on and whola it does the job ... can contact jerry .. his number is 62444055

malarica SG there is a way....i suggest u keep some pandan leaf in ur car. the smell of the pandan will refresh ur car. try it...
Ghee SG shampooed first, then sun your car with windows open, then put some pandan leaves...... If u dont wash, later the smell will come back if the floor mat is wet again, for other reasons...... stinko!
