heavy metal, no?
Heavy Metal spawned out of Rock and leaves no link between both
genres.
Heavy Metal = Everything after Black Sabbath, so to say.

IMO if there was ever a link.. that will link Heavy Metal and Rock
is where it came from. Thats all, but Rock at this point of time
should not have anything to to with Heavy Metal.
Just put it as Rock as nothing to do with Heavy Metal. haha!
Btw, this is a very debated topic on some Heavy Metal websites,
sometimes there no wrong or no right... For referance, Metal
Archives is good, if the band is not there... its not Heavy Metal
enough.
