Hi, I'm new here... I was reading through and i realised you guys are rather heated around here... Well i dont know that much about cars... But if certain values are constant, say that load, torque, and whatever else, perhaps somethings are solved faster? Fiddle with engine too much then debate sure carry on...
And just to set a little thing clear... Shaun979 did say "Each RPM does not have specific horsepower rating. Only RPM in combination with specific amount of load [MAP/MAF/TP] has specific horsepower output." on the 19th of June at 2'52AM according to forum time...

for what its worth, I was talking about revving... like I was saying to Prae, I very gong one... Very Happy ... and I stick to my day-job, which sure isn't automotive engineering.

nope. there is lots beyond workshops. most sg workshops wouldn’t even know the main forces which lead to the failure in a given type of engine or be able to analyze a failure.
