the usual. dings and scratches. check all doors, boot and bonnet covers and make sure they are flushed and open/close without any probs. check the mileage and make sure its reasonably low. check all oils, fluids and make sure they are topped up. headlights/ high beams, brake lights, signal lights and such. the list can go on forever.... up to u how much u wanna check. make sure the chassis no of the car is the same one registered in the log card. Idea

1)Remember to collect on a bright sunny day.
Alot of people like to collect after work, i think thats stupid.

2) Drive ard in the carpark and listen for strange sound. If u go out of main door, chances are, u wont get it rectify.

3)Look at interior for stains.

4) Look at mileage, COmplain if its above 30km.

Ah hia .. new vehicle lah .... Mr. Green

Although heard dat even for new vehicles ... sometimes oso got screw ups ... front/back tyre dun match, wring tyre pressure, incomplete accessories/maintainiance kit etc ... one thing I learnt 2 check carefully is the windscreen, make sure got no tiny potholes ...
especially check those things dat are not covered by the warranty

If yr agent is Alan, dun worry... he tot me how to check engine serial number, orientated me on where to top up water, where not to.... they will on all the lights and open all the doors, just close them to see if they are ok... check the lights, walk round to look out for scratches... Also make sure your road tax disc is displayed before you drive yr kelisa out....

If your car is manual... it would be slightly difficult to engage gear in the beginning... but dun orry... it will be smooth after a week or so...
