Kelisa: fuel consumption is around 15km/litre. Boot space is more than Picanto. Rear passenager leg space is more than Picanto. DOHC vs Picanto's SOHC (subjective). 1litre vs 1.1litre. Price is the same (Picanto manual is not 1k more expensive). 53hp vs Picanto's 63hp. Kelisa has very poor and plastic like interior finishing. Kelisa, being a Malaysian car has cheap servicing over the causeway. Kelisa is so called made for asian climate (that's what the sales rep. told me).

Picanto: fuel consumption is around 18km/litre (claimed to be able to do 20km/litre in London test drive). Very European look alike, thus the nice finishing, interior and exterior. ENOUGH SAID.

Although i bought a picanto but there r some kelisa positive over picanto. kelisa has all round power window which picanto only have front power window.Kelisa has a keyless door open which Picanto does not have.I still does not know whether kelisa still have the 2 tone colour anot but picanto sure dun have. but Picanto can win over kelisa is car size, leg space, engine power and cheap price.
But in singapore i think both car is also suitable depand on what u are look for. Cos Till the end comfort and the cup of tea that suit u is more important. It is better for u to test drive both 1st b4 u buy lor.

Kelisa def. have 2 tone cos saw it on webby and also personally in M'sia. Looks abit like the Mini Cooper design Wink But I think it's sold out cos limited edition...

Hi, have all of you been into the Kelisa at all? I was quite disappointed with the finshing. For example; the front seats where the metal slider piece are is very obvious to the eye and has got this very lousy finishing touch. The speedo metre and RPM metre look very wannabe of a race car and yet looks very cheapskate. Powerwise, it's not as responsive compared to the Picanto.

Kelisa comes with high end rear speakers though.

Guess all my replies have kinda backfired now. Anyway, if you read my earlier thread, I was at Century Square not to get a car. It appealed to me cos of the value for money (though owning a car is never a value). And since deciding on the Picanto at $49999, it was naturally for me to source the other cars at the same price, thus the Kelisa became the completing car. So Mini is out for me...
