I think my social circle is damn small.
I would not consider hi-bye friends as those in my circle. I only
consider those who i catch up ever now and then, meet up ,chat on
the phone etc. Call me fussy or whatever word that suits but i just
cannot imagine having friends or rather those in my social circle
but you seldom meet up and talk to. I do not know but though i have
"friends", i find it hard to click with them. I find people these
days are insensitive and selfish? When you have nothing, nobody
gives a F### about you, however if you have sumthing to benefit
them, they coem to you?
I agree on the whole that networking is an important aspect of life
especially when you start working, especially sales and marketing.
However, does that spell an impending doom for those who just
simply cannot click with others even though they are not
introverts? For me, i've came across many situations when i've met
new people but their attitudes or first impression really gets on
me. Hmm...not sure if any of you experienced this, sometimes a
harmless and playful show of arrogance say in a game of soccer and
everyone starts judging you that very moment when some of these
friends have been with you for a period of time that they only see
fit that moment? When they do likewise, they get their way? Im
quite pissed and tired of such things happening that i'm more of a
loner doing my own things these days. Just cant seem to connect
with anyone.
I feel Singaporeans are insecure on the whole that accounts for the
way they act? Correct me if im wrong. I'm not saying that people
overseas might be better, but i'm seriously considering starting
afresh abroad, somewhere away from all the crap here, people's
mindset and attitudes. What are your views? Care to share with
me.
