apparently, this is one of the main factors when one looks out
for a potential partner, particularly in the female gender. how
misleading or useful do you think it is?
most of the times, it's misleading eventually. but it
has to be the only way to start my interest in the opposite
gender.
or is it just another excuse to reject someone whom you think is
not good enough, be it in physical or material sense?
i don't believe that a person is not good enough for
another. it's a fact that nobody is perfect (even the one i have
chemistry with is definitely not perfect). if i reject someone, it
is becoz it just so happens that i don't feel myself being
romantically attracted to that person, ie, chemistry is genuinely
lacking.
and when the sparkles die down, one usually starts rating the
person beside you with more rationale, rather than what you heart
tells you.
if that's the case, would it be more time-saving to do that right
from the start?
i think as we age, we tend to be more cautious abt
spending time on the wrong person. so it is true that one should be
more rationale right from the start.
but if two people genuinely have chemistry for each other, why not
take a step further and see how far things go? you never know
unless you try....
are these instincts of yours right so far?
define "right"? able to head towards the path of
marriage means "right"?
so far, i don't regret going with my feelings if i genuinely like a
person. i've enjoyed past relationships though sometimes i'm left
battered and emotionally drained but i'm still hopeful for the
"right" one to come along eventually....
