Equinox
Complex
Opened on November 23, 2001, Equinox is the most exciting
restaurant and bar complex in Asia, with five restaurants and bars,
private dining for up to 400, and a total seating capacity for over
900 patrons. Located at the highest vantage point in Singapore, on
levels 68 through 72 of the landmark Raffles City complex, Equinox
provides spectacular views of Singapore and the neighbouring
countries of Malaysia and Indonesia.
Equinox was conceptualised and developed by Raffles International,
who is recognised for its expertise as a creator and innovator of
lifestyle concepts. This includes thirty-five restaurants and bars
located within Raffles City and Raffles Hotel, offering an
unrivaled selection of local, regional and international
cuisines.
Equinox takes its name from the time at which the sun crosses the
equator and day and night are in perfect harmony. The Equinox
complex reflects contemporary Singapores international reputation
as "New Asia". The design acknowledges this city states status as
an international port, tourism hub and world financial centre,
while incorporating the timeless traditions that define the
cultures of Asia.
Spanning an area of 40,000 square feet (3,700 square meters)
Equinox offers a total spectrum of choice, each with its own unique
characteristics and appeal.
Equinox is located atop the I.M. Pei-designed Raffles City Complex,
which also contains Raffles The Plaza and Swissotel The Stamford,
Raffles City Convention Centre, Raffles City Tower, Amrita Spa and
over 70 retail shops. Entrance to the Equinox complex is via the
Stamford Road entrance of Swissôtel The Stamford, through Intro
