Hmmm . I can see your point . I was once like that . but
it was a phase . we all get thru it .
I do make a very clear line between personal feelings and
business . if you run your own business and you operate solely on
soul or compassion . u will lose your money .
I see it in a rather different way . for instance
imagine you have a 'good' that you know should worth S$500
and a man came and offer S$800 for it and
told you it is a
collector's item . and then a granny came and told you
her grandson wanted it for so
long and offer you S$450 for it . who would you be selling the
'good' for ?
I would dismiss the granny politely and bid that 'collector's
item' dude S$1.200 . take it or leave it . why ?
because now I see that the perceived value of the 'good' is
more than expected .
hmmm...I was once like you, only thing in my mind was money...,
till I found that there are many things in the world that money
can't buy and I don't want to be measured by how much money I own.
I made my money, and I don't lose compassion for people, still have
my soul,
, it is just a phase in life, hope you
get thru it soon.
What is the value of the 'good' ? to the granny it
was $450, to the other guy it was $800, and to you it is between
$500 and $1,200, until somebody come a long and pay you
the money, all values are perceived!
The house I am living now is actually worth $20
million, take it or leave it.
