Perhaps you've misunderstood me; I'm extremely grateful to SM Goh and I respect him very much, and I don't think he runs Singapore like a corporation. It is PM Lee that I'm talking about.

And I don't think that it is wrong to run Singapore like that, I do appreciate all the benefits from PM Lee's rule, however, I just hope that he would also try to focus a little bit more on "heartware", that's all=)

Emeritus SM Goh did not launch any personal attacks against this Tan chap. He was simply stating the sad and bare facts why Tan did not make the cut.

As a SM, he has a responsibility to Singapore to tell the truth and le us know things which we don't know.

In fact he even chided his wife for making those insentitive remarks. Where to fidn in the world a PM publicly corrected his wife's statement.

My lady, no person attacks is for opposition to follow, not for PAP, whatever PAP did, right or wrong, they can alway get away with some twist of English that they had mastered so hard. Just LKY speaks of Malay, even proven wrong, he did not apologise with a Sorry, he just state, I stand corrected?
