If you notice our men or boys in blue, they are not proactive in
their cause, meaning they alway wait for calls rather than do more
petrolling and catch the crime on the spot, but i understand them,
which blue boys or gals would want to get slashed in a middle of
breaking a gang fight, they tends to arrive when the fight is over
and someone get killed. Good Police are proactive rather than post
active, they see a problem, arrest it before it become a crime, not
waiting for crime to happen than arrive and do all the layman
works.
proactive comes at a price, madam. how to be proactive in this
dynamic world? deploy more and what does that adds up to? we all
have to pay more. It is the same as if U were to park an ambulance
under all HDB block, feasible?
In the past, police were in NPP, doing patrols, but i guess
stats may shows that it is not productive hence a change in their
patterns.
