Reduce the ns to 1 yr.

2 yr of ns, and govt need to fork out money to feed the soldiers.

If reduce to 1 yr, mindef expenses/costs will be reduce by half.

besides, a shitload of money is spent keeping the high ranking regular occifers at their canteen breaks

1 yr is too short liao.

just bmt and ocs already is 1 year liao. than the officers once complete their course ord liao don't need to go to unit to serve liao

parn....the minister of defence wants to have u arrested....think a warrant could be issued within 48hrs.reason being that u are wasting $$$$ salary that rightfully belongs to the selected sign on people.

My wish is for the government to reduce the normal working hours from 8 hours per day to 5 hours or 6 hours.

Since companies are so reluctant to pay more to their employees to match the standard of living in Singapore, then it's not too much for Singaporeans to work lesser hours per day so that they could enjoy LIFE and LIVING IN SINGAPORE and improve their productivity by having the extra hours to rest per day.

Singaporeans are working to their death at the present! And working towards a retirement without any free medical services from the country.

How can the government request the retired and unable to work elderly to pay for their own medical bills when they are not even able to earn a decent income for themselves?

If it's not ridiculous, then it must be ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!
