if anyone remembered back when e IR started ops in March (As in
USS, Casino, Hotel), plans was alrdy in place to look into adding
bus svs to prevent congestion at e Telok Blangah junction.
It was clear neighbourhood svs was mulled.
I guess as w/ recent events, e PAP overreacted on things that
they actually approved.
I think it's just an election gimmick.
Once elections are over, they will probably allow the bus
services to continue citing some survey they did themselves to show
not many people use the bus services to go gamble in the
casino.
The bus operators should just hang on after the elections.
It's like the issue of restricting PRs now during election year
to please the electorate.
Once elections are over, the floodgates will be re-opened to
every Tom, Dick and Harry again.
