You go petrol kiosk pump petrol, the pump attendants, cashier
all foreigners.
You go 7-11 buy a can of drink, most cashier i seen all
foreigners.
I go airport for check-in, i almost forget i am in singapore not
shanghai, guangzhou, shenzhen as the check in staff i encounter is
mostly china nationals.
in my office tower, i am so shock there are so many china
nationals working in the samebuilding i wonder which company they
are from. coz in my office, there are only 1 expats out of a
workers of 11. geez..
the MOM, immigration fail to tackle the scam behind the
foreigners influx into singapore. Do you guys know, the owners of
company or shops get kickbacks for every foreigners they
employed, i heard every foreigners they employ they get up to $1000
cash. i think the MOM or SIR know shit about it.
i only know of construction workers that are highly being
exploited because of quota and levies as such sub
contractor pay commission to main contractor for getting labors. in
returned sub con deduct pay from workers. Its a shady area.
companies that are labor intensive will take advantage of the
I2E cheaper, faster, and better policy. encourage labor to take a
lower salary.
At a professional level our MOM has very
liberal catergorize the Term
"Professional" it varies from countries.
I believe government has certain quota from varies
countries once that numbers are met than the entry
process will be stricter.
