Please our president salary, if not later, govt would said, follow the example of our president, who works for nothing, then we become more poor and frustrated

ah bian over the table salary is too miserable for him, so he goes undertable, well, he had calculated very well, even with another 7 years as a President with a continous state paid salary, he cannot be a billionaire, so he dun seating in posh prison with no responsibility for 7 years and later can enjoy his life as a billionaires at a oversea destination.

sure, man are born with greed, you put a billion on the table or under the table, i also will take it, but the one on top of the table is more transparent, so they can take without any guilty concious...kind of like, you give me, i take it, no offend done.

Politics are also make up of actor and actress, the difference between a hollywood actor and a politic actor is POWER. Both can be billionaires, but politic actor can hold power, various the hollywood actor got no power and is subject to layman punishment for any crime committed. Men have 3 greed in them, Money, Power and Sex. Usually these 3 coffin nails sent them to Hell

When one is very wealthy, I believe money would not be a consideration when he takes on a work.

Presidency is a very prestiticious post and very high status.I hope it won't have a lot of work to do -- preferably part-time work.Then ppl would not mind to volunteer for it.

Getting highest salary is normal and natural.

It's not neccessary to set 0 salary to achieve something.

as there is not much different btw Chai Png and Chai Bao, if people are so high up that they can set their own salaries, their own terms and conditions, their benefits and perks without the need to consult anyone,....what you expect?? it is a waste of time talking over their pay.

The president has veto power in parliament and veto power over the CPF. There is little in quantifiable power but huge in quality.
