Well, I think the early days of PAP was heading in the right direction except the chinese language policy and PSLE / streaming issue. If anyone insist that PAP was heading in the wrong direction, then they should pray for communism in Singapore, which might be better instead.

To me it's very sad Mother Tongue was actually neglected. But it's least that many of us understnad our basic Mother Tongue in wiriting (language issue esp w/ Chinese Dialect I know it's controvesy though).

Better than M'sia.. Let Indep Chinese High School thrive yet KL govt refuse to accept their cert for uni or govt post. Yet our S'pore uni accept their cert.
