Yesterday on wednesday has the peace conference [Jirga] begun of
1600 tribeleaders and representives of the Afghan people in Kabul,
which should reconcile the whole Afghan nation with each other. But
this coference was overshadowes by an rocketattack of the Taliban,
who do not want this reconcialation. Two explosion happened near
this gathering and several rockets hited the conference-hall.
President Karzai fled by a tank-car. Two Taliban suicide-
terrorists were killed by the guards.
