LKY’s visit to Malaysia
LKY’s visit to
Malaysia attracted a lot of attention from the media on both sides
of the Causeway. It also created excitement among the Malaysian
politicians on both sides of the political divide.
To most people,
the visit seems to be an extremely sincere attempt to improve the
relations between Singapore and Malaysia , but is this really the
case?
The answer is
unfortunately an NO!
Open and hidden
motives
Contrary to what
most people think, LKY visited Malaysia with ulterior motives- open
and hidden!
The open motive
for visiting Malaysia- which Dr Mahathir has also managed to guess
correctly- is for the sake of a sand deal!
Since Singapore
could get sand from Vietnam , what should it do such a
‘meaningless’ thing?
It is because
concluding a sand deal with Malaysia will allow the extraordinary
government to claim credit! So far, the performance of the
extraordinary government do not in any way show a good example of
what is called extraordinary!
Then what are the
hidden- unspoken- motives?
What will happen
if Malaysia DO NOT RETURN Mas Selamat Kastari in
2011?
What will happen
if Malaysia DO NOT RENEW the Water Agreement that will expire
in 2011?
People that LKY
meet
LKY met up with
people like the Kelantan MB and the Chief Minister of Penang . The
Kelantan MB is a formidable man thus LKY is right to meet him. The
Chief Minister of Penang is a good proxy since LKY will not meet
the Senior Mr Lim!
People that LKY
did not chose to meet
He did not meet
Dr Mahathir, the Kelantan Royal Family, the Senior Mr Lim as well
as Anwar Ibrahim.
He did not meet
Dr Mahathir because he detests the latter! If he could send the man
to his maker, LKY will definitely send another letter to the
Malaysia government! We can’t blame LKY for this. It is because Dr
Mahathir is too ‘rude’! Even if LKY visits Malaysia with ulterior
motives- open and hidden, he is after a guest! Dr Mahathir should
have been more ‘generous’ as a host. Instead he told the whole
world about what LKY is trying to do, isn’t Dr Mahathir being
‘mean’ in doing this?
He did not meet
the Kelantan Royal Family, the Senior Mr Lim and Anwar Ibrahim
because he is too self righteous! Thus before the court judge
passes his judgment on Anwar Ibrahim, LKY has already passed his
own judgment! As for the Kelantan Royal Family, it is due to what
happened in Singapore . Thus before the court judge passes his
judgment on Kelantan Crown Prince, LKY has already passed his own
judgment!

LKY chose to meet
up with Mrs Najab.
Conclusion
LKY’s visit did
not achieve much except for the intense attention from the media on
both sides of the Causeway. He did not manage to conclude the sand
deal that extraordinary government has hoped for in order to claim
credit!
Thus, it is fair
to say that the trip is a waste of time, efforts and
money!
In order for PAP
to claim credit that will make it look good in the coming
elections, it wasted taxpayers’ monies!
So much for
integrity, principles and the rule of law!
