Cos, these are labour intensive industries, you can hardly be
productive or automate work processes, therefore there is no better
and faster way of working, it is all base on hard labout, 7am at
shipyard, wear full safety order from helmet to belts to
boots, up the 10 storeys ship, bear the sun, the sound, the
heat and the sweat, everywhere grinding, welding, knocking,
tripping, cabling, piping, carrying, etc etc ...until sun
down...can our youngs do it, i visit there, see the guard room only
want to vomit liao, same smell like SAF uniform.
But at the end of the day, these industries are one of the
industrial that was not affected by the financial crisis, and the
average bonus pay out was 9months...9 solid months.
