Singapore was the headquarters of the Indian national army, a military force sponsored by the Japanese to attack British India during WWII. Thousands of indians across south east asia joined this army to liberate India from british rule.

Anyone here whose grandfather, uncle etc joined Subhash Chandra Bose's Indian national army and fought against the british colonialists during WWII?
