Why must the prices, even of HDB flats must go up because of the government's decisions? Then what will happen to my generation? Sleep on the streets? And with so many so called ''FOREIGN TALENTS'', will we even get our own job and food?

I am keen to know their agenda in doing so. Of late, the government have been bashing our very own Singaporeans, they have much resentment for the Singaporeans. LKY has been complaining about Singaporeans to media and other countries, even compared the way Singaporans with the foreigners and called people of Singapore champions grumblers.

FRankly, we do benefit from it in one way or other but the ones who benefit most is the govt. Feel like it, implement policy, insurance and without our permission just deduct from our CPF account. No human right.

Some will not live to get back their money in CPF, sad.

Either rent, stay with parents or family members. Or they can approach MP for help. OUr MPs in Singapore are very caring and considerate.

HALF a MILLION BUCKS for a 4 room public housing??!!! That's crazy!!! I feel sorry for you Melissa. What were you thinking? Considering you just started out, my guess is that you would have taken out the 30 years loan at least. Add on the compound interest, at the end of that 30 years loan period you would have paid a total ONE MILLION DOLLARS +/- a few thousands! Now ask yourself, can you sell your 4rm HDB flat 30 years from now at one million dollars just to break even? By then your apartment would be at least 35 years old and public flats have only a 99 years life or lease. The best thing you can do now is to sell off that car, it's a terrible waste of money. You should also consider renting out a room or 2 to cover that cash portion you are paying every month. Money can stress your married life to the breaking point. You can thank the PAP for that.

Secondary school teacher are all degree holder ... my niece with a general degree no honours or merit already got 3.2 K when she start work in a primary school after 1 year NIE training, her bf also teacher pay more than 5K after 4 years of work,, , GLC engineer pay around 2.5 K at least ... maybe TS 5 K pay is after deduction of CPF . so their combine pay gross is 7 K actually , so I think TS story quite true

If this story is true, this teacher deserve it... No money go buy 3 room flat in Jurong.. Less than 300K
