The status quo was the result of a major clampdown of the local
media some 28 years ago . Even with the emergence of
the internet they are still bent on the stifling
the opposition voice in the mainstream media.
Their unfair media platform gave them the political advantage,
evident of the lack of fair play in this aspect. Any
attempt to defend it, makes it more appalling.
