as i said already, burma monks are fighers , singapore monks are
cheater, all for the cause of money, be it whether you are loaning
or barrowing, monk or so called sangha should not indulge
themselves with money or any trading of it.
I was seconded by my grandma to attend a short course only, that
is why i understand life at a very tender age, i see no singapore
gals ever go for nunnery in their life, all are still very naive,
materialistic and think that they are the best, but of cos not all
of them, if you look at singapore, more old are passing away and
less young are getting enlighted, even so, they go into maha or
theravada type of buddhism, which is devoted type with idolism in
it, the founder of buddhism is nothing but a man who think thru in
life, he is not a monk, and he never ask anyone to be monk or nun,
and most important, he never ask you to pray or worship him, he
believed we are all buddha, just that we fail to understand life
fully and thereby failed to shine.
I was a very bad girl in my teenages time, alway end up 3 am in
disco, drink, hip hop all the way until my grandma send me for a
short course in Shan Mei nunnery, there i understand the glory of
life. Nothing is permanent, but people are never satisfy, the
continous search for the glory of life in a materialistic way will
only add on your sorrow, problem after problems cease to end.
Amen
time has changed. do you expect the monks and nuns not to take
modern transports but like olden days, travel by walking or always
need someone to be with them to pay the fares on their
behalf ? can the monks and nuns in singapore plant their own
vegetables or go round asking for alms which is illegal
in singapore.
if they are not allowed to receive money from the devotees, i
think every monks will need a personal assistant to handle their
daily needs.even if the monks and nuns do not step out of the
temples, they still need to pay for the electrical bills and what
about their daily necessities (clothings, hair cut, shoes etc.) or
do you expect them to use candles. you have not grasped what buddha
is trying to preach or you will not end up saying amen.
one day the young ladies in singapore will become old, that is
the time when we will seriously thinking of what is life all about.
thus, do not judge us when we are still young.
