no lah, in malaysia, i fell down on the pavement because the brick
all crooked, in thailand, i kenna knock by motorcycle because no
pavement to walk and the road is jam packed, then in cambodia, i
got bitten by a snake, cos the road side also got snake holes,
....even i go hk, i cannot hardly work, so narrow the space and yet
so much peoples, then in suzhou, peoples squat and shit along the
road, which make up of red soil and pebbles, how to walk?? Aiyo,
sometime, you live in heaven and still think it is hell,..no wonder
the soul is alway raging.
woah... I applaud you for the same mentality as our govt. This
is selective comparison.
So you compare with 3rd world countries eh. Cambodia, Malaysia,
Thailand. I suppose you have never been to South Korea, where the
roads are as clean as ours, Japan, where the train is better than
ours. You also forgot to mention that with the influx of foreigners
so that they work at horrid conditions for you, SG will soon become
HK, where you can hardly walk in certain places.
And in UK, lots of walking places, US lots of walking places, I
can give you more places for PROPER comparisons.
The point being, you are just like the govt, only compare
against countries that make us look good. It's sad, coz we are just
deluding ourselves when we do not have the guts to compare with
countries that have similar or better standards.
Singapore is never a
heaven. It's just a NORMAL place to live in, but which our govt try
to make it look like the best, when in fact, it's just
ORDINARY.
An ordinary place with
the most
expensive
govt in the world.
