You guys do not know how LKY works with his disciple or ministers. He alway protray himself as the last hero in the last minute out of his silver curtain.

He works in a way of telling his ministers to mess it up, jack up the price, earn big money and make the ground so fed up, then before the boiling point is reached, he will come in and cool the ground, and stupid singaporeans alway think that he saved them, how can it be, MBT is his disciple hor.

But if you said MBT is a scapegoat, no way, he had alway been a catalyst of Singapore price increases, be it Road tax, cars, house, etc etc...MBT is a good disciple for increasing prices, that is why he still keep him. And i you think LKY is going to thumb MBT head, you are wrong, in fact, LKY will give pad on the back of MBT and said "Well Done, this year you will get good bonus"

Angel i heard from fedbacks at ground zero as observed by people living at potong pasir. what better place to get news as this happen after elections even why papy side lost. so can see the true face. if that candidate insist on working for the people there he should continue to apply for the sit next election and put some good suggestion (even if he has to work with opposition , same to all opposition vice versa) so that people benefit in the end.

i don't care about hippo and pappy differences. the people are what these hippo and pappy are paid for in millions per month or per year. we expect results from them, even if it means getting something out of nothing doing the possible out of the impossible.

That put pressure on LKY wherever he went to visit countries which most leaders of these countries will question him. So, Chiam was born, LKY see a picked a person like Chiam who has a cool head and able to convince the ground to be the opposition, follow by Low TK, a recommendation from Chiam to PAP. Both can be consider as mole and opposite of PAP at the same time. This released the pressure and critics from the international world.

Singaporeans are like this one mah, complain kings and queens ya, if not, you dun qualify to be Singaporeans.

Dad said many Singaporeans complain alots about the govt and vote to vote opposition, but when come to election day, they secretly vote for PAP, then tell people they vote opposition. All bluff bluff one lah

Why worry, last time, my grandma also worry about her future generation, she told me that time paid was $100/per and house cost only $10k, as the housing and foods price of her time escalated, she also get worried about we, her grandchildrens future, but now, when she looks at us, she feels she worried for nothing, we are actually surviving better than her generation. So, dun worry ya, the future will align by themselves, in the meantime, enjoy life, it is not long.
