when it comes to investments, you cant have those government appointed bureaucrats to run these investment funds. these people are greenhorns relying on the so called experts, with good educational qualifications in their field. look at ho ching track record for instance. she was an engineer and I have no idea what she is managing Temasek Holdings as a CEO. as she is the CEO, she will have to take the fall for any failed investments.

Have to agree on that....Our education system is such a big failure that it only create so-called "Bookworm",only good at study,n know nothing else.

I know a guy that has University cert but after serving NS,he got no job n cannot work.

Having a cert doesnt mean anything when step into society n work,coz the boss n ur colleagues still judge u from your work performance,thats the most important part.

Unfortunately,LKY n his son only judge whether a person is successful or not through educational cert.And twisted our eductation system too difficult that it will only produce MORONS.Those who get the higher lvl of education,the sydrome seems to be worse...

Without investment/business acumen they play smart alecs to use the money from the people of Singapore to invest, seems more like gambling. True again....And the PAP ministers rely heavily on the so-called "Ang Moh" to help them run their corporates n GLC,which in many cases,the Ang Moh also lose alot of investment money n many a times,they are only sit down there doing nothing n take high pays.

I can tell u all,those PAP ministers are a bunch of fools who get toyed around by these Ang Moh.

P.S.I am not racist,but there are really some scumbags from foreign countries who simply come here n cheat money.Generally speaking,i am still feeling friendly with those foreigners(be it Chinamen,Filipinos or westerners) who work here.
