Apologies, I understood your point about a good MIJ car as the
Mz3 having a 5th gear ratio. Yes the Civic is ex, but I think vis a
vis comparing the launch price of the Mz3 and the Civic, the Civic
would actually be priced much more competitively - but that could
be due to other reasons like the drop in COE price.
Similarly, I would expect the new Mz3 to be priced even higher
than the Civic - possibly the 70-80k range.
mz3 launch was at a time when the COE was relatively high as
compared to now..
Civic high price is justified and the buyers know it.. tt's why
even up till today.. the price of civic remained relatively
constant from the day it was launch...
the new mz3 if its priced beyond the range of civic.. then
it has to be justified....
i would like to stress again tt most car buyers are not idiots..
