Singapore as a trading post exist long before the brit
came.... put their flag. Earlier vatican record indicate
missionaries sail by the strait and stop over for refuelling
supplies with local fishermen, and trades for spice
etc, and conduct mass on shore.
Singapore will continue to exist long after the regime is over,
the dynamic and wealth of the cities and people may not
be the same ...but city state will exist.
personnally i would prefer less folks in SG than now...
