Just commenting on irresponsible people in Singapore in general. I do share certain similar views with Xtreiyer but he is not pro-PAP, just pro-Singaporean. PAP does have its ups and downs with the people in history and I do sincerely hope that it will change for the better.

Surprisingly in recent times, a lot of "foreigners" are also starting to write in to the papers and forums asking singaporeans to be thankful of the government.

If the act of being grateful have to be taught and encouraged, it doesn't come directly from the heart but from words of propaganda, it is mere psychological manipulation.

Was watching the news just now, I remembered the curly (Finance Minister) telling us that recession is over we are on the road to recovery now. The all of a sudden Lim Say Swee throw us a curve ball and tell us that it is not recovering.

Not recovering means wages cannot go up or cannot ask for increment.

Depends if the critism is constructive or not, If it's just Lee must die propaganda, then some terse words must be given to the thread starter.

What's wrong with asking or praying for lee to die?

That is a common view among singaporeans.

Whoever is the next PM of S'pore, I hope he or she is not one stuck up thinking like a big fuck who grows up talking to rich people only.

Must have a commoner upbringing, if not he or she can't put oneself into the shoes of the HDB dwellers and understand the difficulty of life here.
