Like you I haven't found a forum for Chevy yet. I am shopping
around for an effortable car and came across AVEO. The design is
great and value for money with many choice of colour. It is true
that most people are put off by the ex-DAEWOO brand including
myself. Come to think about it, people are also put off by Suzuki
for the sound of its name. As for Toyota, it has been on the road
for a long time with a significant market share. That is why most
still consider VIOS. Compare to AVEO, VIOS has sport kits, airbags
and Japanese engine&gearbox, these are the good stuff. However,
there are no 60:40 split rear seats in VIOS ( as with ALTIS) and we
cannot run away from the fact that it is assembled in Thailand. I
have seen a VIOS with the wording 'VIOS' removed for apparent
reason. You must be looking for a low-budget car if you happen to
shortlist AVEO and VIOS. Hyundai ACCENT is also around this price
range.
Will be looking around for AVEO owners on the road to obtain their
